Our journey of passion and purpose

Two Las Vegas girls, lifelong friends, and horse lovers — that’s how The Sassy Stirrup got its start.

Between long days at the barn and busy lives beyond it, Ashley and Jordyn know what it means to balance passion, family, and a love for all things equestrian. Ashley brings her 25+ years of experience from AQHA and collegiate riding, while Jordyn shares her barn time (and love for horses) with her daughter when she’s not running between PTA meetings and volunteer events.

What started as a shared dream in the tack room turned into The Sassy Stirrup— a space for riders who live and breathe the horse life, just like they do.

I’m a proud Las Vegas native and lifelong equestrian with more than 25 years in the horse community. My journey has taken me from the AQHA circuit to collegiate competition at Randolph College, and while I’ve since traded the show ring for the boardroom, my passion for horses remains stronger than ever. Alongside my co-founder Jordyn, I’m thrilled to bring that lifelong love of horses to our brand — built by riders, for riders. At home, I share my life with my horses, Ice and London, my dog Waverly, and my charming pig, Sir Hamlet George.

I am a true Las Vegas native, dedicated mom of two, and lifelong horse lover. I am proud to share my passion for horses with my daughter, continuing a tradition of connection and care that inspires everything we do. When I’m not at the barn, I channel my energy into family life and community involvement, serving an active role in the PTA. Together with my co-founder, I bring warmth, dedication, and real-world equestrian experience to the brand.
